Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered among the best athletes. As an U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the only one who won four gold medals in one Games during the 2016 Olympics. She is the only person to have three world championships in succession. Biles was born at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metropolitan area. Her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare teacher Aimee Borman when she was just six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles took home a medal in vault, as well as a gold medal on the floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began competing in elite levels of the sport. Within two years she had dominated this sport. Biles was notable for her consistently high performance and exuberant character, as well as the difficulty of her routines across each of the four events: vault, bars with uneven surfaces and balance beam.
